ALEXANDRA:
How are you doing?

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Just fine. Yeah, I’m amazed. It’s just, obviously the medication, whatever they’ve managed to come up with, it’s, it’s working, you know, because it’s been over a year now. I can’t believe it.

ALEXANDRA:
Wow, that’s great.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Since I had an episode, you know. So I mean, it’s just, I figure, they say you never get cured, right. But at least you know, whatever it is, I mean, I hate taking the medication. I’m just I’m very bad about it. And I think maybe that was one of my problems, because I kept cutting back on it. So I was taking as much because any medication that you take on a regular basis like this, it does have side effects, right. And I kept thinking that one of them was affecting my balance, because my balance was so bad, but talking to a friend yesterday, and her balance is terrible. And she’s, she’s eighty so, you know, it could very well have been nothing to do with the medication, you know, but I thought it was thinking it was and cut back on that. And then every time I’d cut back on it, it would happen, and then I’d start all over again. And it was a horrible mess. So I’m resigned to the fact that I’ve got to take the medication, and I think I’m doing well on it obviously. Well, I’m feeling great. Yeah like me old self so it’s great. Yeah,

ALEXANDRA:
Aw that’s great.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Was mom was able to run that poem off?

ALEXANDRA:
Yup, she put it in her pile to bring to you. Yup.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Oh, did she? Oh, goody. Good. I can’t remember how it goes at all except there’s something about you’ll be a….one day you will be a man my son something like that at the end is it?

ALEXANDRA:
Yeah.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
So you learnt it in school hey? That’s interesting. I wonder if Riley did too then?

ALEXANDRA:
Yeah for some reason….Like we had all different teachers so like, he easily could have not had to. I don’t know.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Yeah, that’s true. Yeah.

ALEXANDRA:
But maybe…Yeah, I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Right…Oh, I’m sure Well, the thing is, it goes so well with the card. When I read the card through I thought, wow, this is just perfect. So and then I thought, Well, I better put the poem in just in case he and Shevon didn’t know where it was coming from and wondering why I picked that particular card right? You know…but cards are a terrible price! I can’t believe it. I think it’s $6.98 for a card.

ALEXANDRA:
Oh my god.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
I know. Well, fortunately, I’m sort of giving them money for the rest of they’re gift so haha.

ALEXANDRA:
Just add it on.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
That just added on. Yeah, that $7 will come off the money I was going to give them hahah. No I’m only kidding. But really, I can’t believe that they’ve got the nerve to charge that much. Because I mean, really and truly there isn’t that amount…I mean, they’re making 500% profit, which I think that’s, I think that’s terrible. I really do. I think that’s stealing, daylight robbery! Anyway, that’s my grief of the day but I liked it so much I thought well it’s worth it for me to… It’s only going to happen once in a lifetime, right? So…

ALEXANDRA:
Yeah, yeah. Totally.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Have you found the card?

ALEXANDRA:
No, I still need to find one.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Oh yeah, and how about something to wear?

ALEXANDRA:
Yes, I have something to wear. I just need to find a bra kind of thing to wear. But I’ve chosen a dress. So that’s great. Actually it’s my grad dress like the one yeah…

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Well that’s what I said and mom said something about well it’s got short sleeves or it’s got no sleeves or something and wouldn’t, would look too summery but I don’t think it will. Because it’s a dark material. No, I think that’s lovely.

ALEXANDRA:
Yeah.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Actually, to be quite honest, I’m not that crazy on that dress that mom picked out. Where did she get it from? For herself?

ALEXANDRA:
The Bay. The pattern one?

GRANDMA AUDREY:
The Bay. Yeah what do you think about it?

ALEXANDRA:
Oh, I like it. Yeah, but she’s also looking at another one now. So…haha.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Is she? Yeah.

ALEXANDRA:
You don’t like it?

GRANDMA AUDREY:
The thing is, I guess I’m not used to sort of seeing her in anything sort of that…I don’t know, sort of busy. You know. It’s a busy print isn’t it…But anyway. I mean, it would do. Let’s put it that way it would do but I think she could get something maybe a little bit more flattering. I don’t think it flatters her build that much. But Anyway. We’ll see. As I said, seeing as she’s the mom of the bride groom, she better be looking good haha.

ALEXANDRA:
Yeah, definitely.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Yeah. Mostly she’s just someone in the audience like we are.

ALEXANDRA:
Hahah.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Ah that’s lovely.

ALEXANDRA:
Ok take care.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Ok bye sweetheart. Love you.

ALEXANDRA:
Love you too. Bye.

GRANDMA AUDREY:
Bye.
